Switched Long Distance
Teligent's Switched Long Distance (LD) service supports long distance calling over your existing local voice access, such as business lines or digital trunks. Our Switched LD Service can be configured to support outbound long distance, inbound toll-free calling or both.
Teligent's switched outbound service supports in-state, interstate, and international long distance calling. At the customer's request, Teligent can block international outbound calling.
Switching your service to Teligent for Long Distance is fast and simple. Upon your request, Teligent places an order with your local Telephone Company to change your long distance carrier to Teligent (0719). The Local Telephone Company then simply updates the carrier change in their local switch.
The actual conversion takes place in 5-7 business days or less without any wiring or physical changes at your site or to your service.
Dedicated Long Distance Service
Teligent's Dedicated Long Distance (DLD) service (digital T-1) is provisioned directly between the customer's premise and the appropriate network switch, bypassing the Local Exchange Carrier (LEC) switch at the local central office.
Teligent's DLD service can be configured to support outbound long distance, inbound toll-free calling, or both. Individual trunks can be configured as outbound only, inbound only, or bi-directional (2-way).
Teligent dedicated outbound service supports in-state, interstate, and international long distance calling. At a customer's request, Teligent can block international calling.
